"Art is all about organized perception.
Creativity is giving yourself permission
to see things differently."
As a student of both art and sociology, I am intrigued by the power of a visual vocabulary to express the way I interpret the world around me and explore the relationship I have with it. In my work, I attempt to amalgamate history, experience, and culture in a defined space or structure. I enjoy screen printing for its physicality, reproductive qualities, and the challenge of duplication. Screen printing acts as an outlet for the deconstruction of my thoughts, yet allows me to seamlessly piece them back together in the end.
